Chair Endowments
The Johnstown Symphony Orchestra has been a cornerstone of the arts since 1929. To ensure the financial security of this unique arts and cultural institution, the JSO Board of Directors has established an Endowment Fund - and a means of contributing to this fund through the endowment of specific chairs within the Orchestra.
With the endowment of a chair, the name of the person to be honored by the endowment will be associated with that position and will appear in each concert program for the next 100 years, after which time the name will appear in each program with emeritus status in perpetuity.
