Young Artist Competition

The Johnstown Symphony Orchestra (JSO) conducts a Young Artist Competition every other year.  The Competition winner will appear as a soloist with the JSO on the March 12, 2011 concert.  The major requirements are ages 16 to 23 and the student must be either a resident (their home address) OR a student in an institution in any of the six counties, Blair, Bedford, Cambria, Indiana, Somerset or Westmoreland.

PRIZES
First Prize: $500 Cash Award and a Performance with the JSO on March 12, 2011
Second Prize: $300 Cash Award
Third Prize: $200 Cash Award
