YOUNG PEOPLES CONCERTS

The JSO presents at least two free concerts for area fifth grade students every spring. The concerts introduce these young audiences to the instruments and sounds of the orchestra. Teachers interested in bringing students to these concerts should call the JSO office early in the school year.

The 2017 Young People's concerts will take place on April 11, 2017.  We welcome nearly 2,000 area 5th-graders to the Pasquerilla Performing Arts Center where they will hear a program called “Creativity and Music” featuring Mike Hruska, President/CEO of Problem Solutions here in Johnstown.  Mike will be the narrator for "Mr. Mike's Composition".
