Spring Semester Begins: Community Strings

Looking for a joyful way to make music with others? Community Strings is now welcoming new participants for the spring semester. Open to adult and student string players of all experience levels, this ensemble offers a supportive, low-pressure environment focused on connection, learning, and the pure enjoyment of making music together.

Rehearsals are relaxed and encouraging, with no audition required. Whether you’re returning to your instrument after time away or looking for a creative outlet alongside fellow musicians, Community Strings is a wonderful way to stay musically active and engaged in the community.

Community Strings is a companion ensemble of the Johnstown Symphony Orchestra and performs at community events throughout the region.

Come play, reconnect with your instrument, and be part of something musical this spring.
