Share the Music Program

Opening doors to music, one student at a time.

Since 2012, the Johnstown Symphony Orchestra’s Share the Music Program has helped make music education more accessible to young people in our community who may not otherwise have the opportunity to study an instrument.

Through this outreach and enrichment program, students can build their musical skills, grow their confidence, and deepen their connection to live music and the JSO.

Share the Music support may include:

• Private lessons with a professional musician

• Instrument rental assistance

• Tuition assistance

Our goal is simple: to help remove financial barriers so that more students have the opportunity to learn, play, and discover a lifelong connection to music.
